Varselio

Terms of use (beta)

Varselio reduces risk but can’t stop every attack. It is a free public beta and a proof of concept, not yet a finished commercial service. Last updated 25 October 2026.

Who runs it

Varselio is built and run by Dennis Erichsen, a registered sole trader (enskild firma) in Sweden, approved for F-tax (F-skatt) and registered for VAT. Address: Dalvägen 11, 697 34 Hallsberg, Sweden. Contact: dennis@varselio.se.

What you get

A free account with the Eye (a chat and voice companion), traps (fake keys, logins and files that reveal who touched them), and a checkpoint API for AI agents. The checkpoint also plants honeytokens (a fake API key, customer record and link) for your agents, asks a second, independent check before risky actions, and learns from anonymous attack patterns shared between customers. The free plan allows 1,000 checks per month. No payment is taken during the beta.

No guarantee

Varselio reduces the risk of harmful AI-agent actions and helps you notice intruders. It does not remove that risk and cannot stop every attack. It is provided “as is” and “as available”, without any guarantee of security, availability, accuracy or fitness for a particular purpose. Do not rely on it as your only protection. The Eye’s free-form answers are written by an AI model (xAI Grok) and can be wrong; protective actions are carried out by Varselio’s own fixed rules, not by the AI.

Your responsibility

You remain responsible for your own systems, your own backups, and the actions of your own agents and users. You decide what to connect to Varselio and what to allow or block. Keep your own independent backups and security measures. Do not use traps against systems you are not allowed to monitor, and do not send other people’s personal data or real production secrets in checks.

Limitation of liability

Mandatory law is not affected

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability that cannot be limited or excluded under mandatory law. Swedish law applies. In particular, mandatory consumer rights and liability for gross negligence or intentional misconduct remain unaffected — under Swedish law such liability cannot be fully excluded, and these terms should be read accordingly.

Fair use

Use one account per person or team, with an e-mail address you can receive mail at. Accounts that are not confirmed within 48 hours may be deleted. Do not try to break into other accounts or overload the service. To keep the beta free, there are limits on sign-ups, sign-ins and AI replies. Accounts that abuse the service may be removed. Features, limits and stored data may change, be reset or be removed during the beta, with or without notice.

Your data

See the privacy notice. You can download your data or delete your account at any time from Account, privacy & notifications.
